Spirit, the low-cost airline, announced the reactivation of flights on its route that connects Fort Lauderdale with Bucaramanga.

The airline, which had begun operations to Bucaramanga in November 2020, was forced to suspend the route since January of this year due to inspection issues of the engines of its fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.

Spirit has confirmed that it will reactivate the operation of the Fort Lauderdale – Bucaramanga – Fort Lauderdale route from December 4, 2024 with three weekly frequencies that will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The route will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 182 passengers: 8 “big front seat” seats in a 2-2 configuration and 174 seats in economy class in a 3-3 configuration.

It is estimated that the supply of seats on the route is 1,092 per week between the two cities.

Flight NK860 will depart Fort Lauderdale at 10:50 am to land in Bucaramanga around 2:12 pm On the way back, flight NK861 will depart Palonegro International Airport at 3:17 pm to arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 6: 40 p.m.
