Within the scope of the Ministry of Health of Entre Ríos, the president of the Single Coordinating Center for Ablation and Implant of Entre Ríos (Cucaier), led the first working meeting of coordination, review and evaluation of the protocol for transfers of organs, tissues and cells in procurement and transplant processes.

The current protocol has been in force since June 2019, in the first instance with an agreement focused on the city of Paraná, and what is currently being sought is to expand it to the entire province. It defines all the issues involved in the transfer of equipment in operational logistics, the transfer of patients if necessary, and the transfer of organs and tissues.

Cucaier, Division 911 – video surveillance, Municipal Traffic Directorate, Health Emergencies Directorate 107, Provincial Aeronautics Directorate, Active Corps of Volunteer Firefighters and Paraná Airport – National Civil Aviation Administration participate in this protocol with efficient and effective actions; forming teamwork in order to provide a higher quality, effective and safe service for the health system and the community.

Finally, Cucaier highlighted that thanks to the support of these institutions the province has been able to satisfactorily carry out all the required transfers.
