María Coronado, 26 years old, is a young professional in Marketing and Advertising, and one of the candidates for the Señorita Neiva contest, within the framework of the Bambuco Festival in San Juan and San Pedro.
For María, being Miss Mayté represents an honor and a deep commitment. This position gives you the opportunity to be a bridge between tradition and modernity, promoting the Neivan identity with respect and dedication.
Regarding her role at the Mayté nightclub, María emphasizes that her representation is not limited only to the music offered by the establishment. She highlights that Mayté is a space for meeting and economic revitalization in Neiva, born on an emblematic date for the city and that fuses traditions with contemporaneity. She also mentions that she feels identified with the process that the Disco has had because she knows the partners and she knows that they started from scratch just as she also started the dream of having her own business.
María expresses that her desire to be Miss Neiva is a deep-rooted dream since her childhood. She considers that this aspiration goes beyond obtaining a crown, it is the opportunity to represent with dignity and passion the city she loves and its rich culture.
María’s preparation for this contest has been intense and constant. She has focused her efforts on personal development, mastery of communication skills, and deep knowledge of the history and culture of Neiva. She claims to be fully prepared and committed to representing Neiva in the departmental and national competitions, and promises to continue preparing with greater dedication.
For María, Miss Neiva should be an ambassador of Huilense culture, with love for its traditions and a firm commitment to the development of the city. In addition, she must stand out for her charisma, emotional intelligence and leadership ability.
Despite being born in Palermo, María has built her life in Neiva, where she has found opportunities for personal and professional growth. Her desire to represent Neiva arises from the love and gratitude she feels for this city that has welcomed her and that she wishes to promote at all times.
Finally, María defines the essence of Huilense culture as a rich folkloric tradition, especially in the majestic Sanjuanero Huilense. She also highlights the warmth of its people, their deep-rooted sense of identity and deep respect for the region’s nature and history.
