SEER students and teachers support the Mexican Red Cross – La Jornada San Luis

The Regular State Educational System (SEER), gave the Mexican Red Cross a donation of 567 thousand 449 pesos and 70 cents, the result of the 2024 School Collection, contributed voluntarily by the management, teaching, administrative staff and students of the 807 official and private schools belonging to this system.

At the “Fernando Vázquez” primary school, the general director of SEER, Crisógono Sánchez Lara, said that the instruction of the Governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, is to promote solidarity and altruism in schools of all levels, therefore who highlighted that this contribution will help care for people, girls and boys, women and men who need it.

He highlighted that the State Government’s educational strategy seeks to create awareness of philanthropy with those organizations that contribute to the well-being of the community.

The event was attended by the state delegate of the Mexican Red Cross, Jesús Ernesto de la Maza Jiménez, members of the SEER administrative structure, teachers and students from the primary school, “Fernando Vázquez” and secondary school, “Moisés Jiménez”; as well as the “Aurelio Manrique” school choir.
