At 6:20 am the Satena’s first flight to Villavicencio. Its inauguration took place during the high season and while many people include the capital of Meta as their vacation destination.
The route has a daily frequency and is carried out in ATR type aircraft with capacity for 72 passengers.. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

The inaugural flight (8882), which landed at the Vanguardia Airport in Villavicencio, was attended by the mayor of that city, Alexander Baquero.
For several of the passengers, This new route constitutes an opportunity not only for regional connectivity in the country but to encourage tourism.
When evoking the difficulties on the road to the Llano, Giovanni Malo, told RCN Radio that “Villavicencio needs more air transport offers.” He was one of the travelers who participated in the inaugural flight.

The mayor of Villavicencio stated that kilometer 58 of the road to Llano is being intervened. After 4 months, the delivery of a viaduct is expected.

- Monday: Bogotá – Villavicencio: 3:10 pm / Villavicencio – Bogotá: 4:40 pm
- Tuesday: Bogotá – Villavicencio: 5:50 am / Villavicencio – Bogotá: 5:10 pm
- Wednesday: Bogotá – Villavicencio: 6:25 am Villavicencio – Bogotá: 4:42 pm
- Thursday: Bogotá – Villavicencio: 5:35 am /Villavicencio – Bogotá: 3:55 pm
- Friday: Bogotá – Villavicencio: 6:32 am / Villavicencio – Bogotá: 3:42 pm
- Saturday: Bogotá – Villavicencio: 5:44 am / Villavicencio – Bogotá: 5:11 pm
- Sunday: Bogotá – Villavicencio: 5:44 am /Villavicencio – Bogotá: 5:00 pm
Baquero highlighted the new Satena route between Bogotá and Villavicencio as an opportunity to enhance air connectivity in the country.
Last May, the state airline announced 23 new frequencies to Villavicencio, San José del Guaviare and Arauca.
