At that time, the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF) confirmed that The minor arrived at the medical center with serious signs of physical violence, malnutrition and sexual abuse.

After eight days of observation, the baby died.

The judicial process against the murderous stepfather was led by a prosecutor from the Center for Comprehensive Attention to Victims of Sexual Abuse (CAIVAS) of the Medellín Section, who proved that the child was systematically attacked between November 2021 and May 2022, in bathroom of the building where they lived, in the La Gabriela neighborhood, in Bello.
