Without a doubt, one of the most important mobility measures in the country is the peak and license plate, as it allows controlling traffic, regulating the behavior of citizens behind the wheel, and avoiding increased pollution, among others. In the city of Bucaramanga, the way in which the peak and plate would be established throughout 2024 was consolidated through a resolution. This is why citizens must be aware of the changes that are made every three months.
The Bucaramanga Transit Directorate indicated that the peak and license plate “applies to all types of private and public service vehicles (except individual taxi-type service) and official, diplomatic, consular and temporary import vehicles and/or foreign registration.” All of this was regulated by Resolution 626 of December 28, 2023.
The peak and plate in the city of Bucaramanga is applied from Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm Meanwhile, on Saturdays it is imposed between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm
Likewise, according to the Bucaramanga Transit Directorate, in the city it was established through of Resolution 626 of December 28, 2023 that between January 2 and December 31, 2024 the peak and plate must vary every three months.
Now, for the period of April, May and June the peak and plate is:
- On Mondays it applies to vehicles ending in 1 and 2
- On Tuesdays for vehicles ending in 3 and 4
- On Wednesdays for vehicles ending in 5 and 6
- On Thursdays for vehicles ending in 7 and 8
- On Fridays for vehicles ending in 9 and 0
- On Saturdays the peak and plate rotate every week, therefore, it is necessary to be aware of it.

- Monday, June 17, 2024: The peak and license plate for this day will be for vehicles ending in 1 and 2
- Tuesday, June 18, 2024: The peak and license plate for this day will be for vehicles finished in 3 and 4
- Wednesday, June 19, 2024: The peak and license plate for this day will be for vehicles finished in 5 and 6
- Thursday, June 20, 2024: The peak and license plate for this day will be for vehicles ending in 7 and 8
- Friday, June 21, 2024: The peak and license plate for this day will be for vehicles ending in 9 and 0
- Saturday, June 22, 2024: The peak and license plate for this day will be for vehicles finished in 7 and 8
