Governor Gustavo Sáenz and the mayor of Salta Emiliano Durand visited this Saturday the neighborhood center of the Pablo Saravia neighborhood, in the southern part of the city, where a new day of the “La Muni in your neighborhood” program was held, which has in order to decentralize municipal services with the participation of the Province through the Ministry of Public Health.

More than 2,000 neighbors came to make inquiries and procedures.

After touring each of the service stands and talking with the staff, professionals and neighbors, Sáenz highlighted the importance of the program taking place on Saturdays, which “is when people can access many of the services provided by the Municipality and the Government of the province” and that is why we work together “to enhance and improve them.” He highlighted the success of the day since not only the residents of the Pablo Saravia neighborhood came there, but also from San Remo, Scalabrini Ortiz, San Calixto, Don Santiago, among others and even from the upper west area.

In addition, he greeted the parents who celebrate their day next Sunday, wishing them “to have a nice day and enjoy their family, their children, their grandparents.”

Sáenz and Durand visited the service stations where advice from lawyers, architects, accountants, computer technicians, notaries, nutritionists, etc. was also made available.

Among the services provided are: rabies vaccination, deworming, hairdressing care, dentistry, flu vaccination and mammograms.

On this occasion also, rapid tests were carried out to detect HIV and stands of the Public Services Regulatory Entity and the Ombudsman’s Office were set up.

Vaccination

Regarding the care provided, the Undersecretary of Animal Welfare and Zoonoses, Matias Peretti, maintained that “we not only did vaccination, but also deworming and giving appointments for castrations. Likewise, primary care for those animals with a pathology that can be corrected here at the post.”
