A woman was arrested in San Carlos Police Controllimit with Mendozawhen during a vehicle check they detected a bus used as a shopping tour, in which the suspect was transporting several kilos of cocaine inside some music speakers.
According to what was learned, the woman was detained in San Juan, precisely at the phytosanitary control of San Carlos, in Sarmiento, when she was traveling on a long-distance bus from Oran, Salta, bound for Mendoza. There, the Gendarmerie found that he was transporting several kilos of cocaine hidden in those devices.
According to reliable sources, the incident occurred this Saturday, when in joint action between Squadron 64 “Mendoza”, Core Squadron “San Juan”, Road Safety Section “La Punta”, which carried out multiple road and preventive controls on National Routes N ° 40, 7 and 142.
The controls took place at kilometer 3379 of National Route No. 40, at the San Carlos Control Point. When checking the vehicle, the authorities detected that a passenger was carrying four wireless speakers and that, upon thoroughly inspecting the sound equipment, the substance was found. When the field test and weighing were carried out, the substance had a total of 4 kilos, 157 grams of cocaine.
Given the discovery, intervention was given to Federal Court No. 2 of San Juan, Criminal Secretariat No. 5, who internalized ordered the seizure of the substance, the arrest of the citizen involved and the seizure of elements of interest to the case for alleged violation of Law 23,737.
