In a meeting held at the Government House, Governor Raúl Jalil received the Catamarca athlete Julián Gutiérrez, who is preparing to make history with his participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
During the meeting, Gutiérrez showed the president the new state-of-the-art suit and rifle that he acquired to compete in the biggest event in world sport next July.
“It is the best equipment there is and I am totally grateful to the Governor for all the help he gave me,” said Julián Gutiérrez. The Olympic athlete explained that his suit, an Indian brand, has a much more flexible fabric with respect to heat, allowing a tight fit to the body that provides greater firmness when pulling.
In addition, he highlighted that the rifle with which he will participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is the best in terms of electronic system, with carbon fiber components selected specifically for this high-level competition. “Everything has already been tested,” said the shooter.
Julián Gutiérrez commented that on June 28 he will travel to Buenos Aires, to later leave for Germany on July 1. In German lands he will remain concentrated with the national team and will carry out the last part of the preparation until July 21, the day on which they will travel to France to enter the Olympic Village and wait for the ceremony and start of the Games on July 26.
