A young man died in a accident in which a motorcycle and two bicycles participated on provincial route 165, San Rafael. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. this Sunday and the mechanics of the road accident are being investigated.
According to the police report from the Ministry of Security, the victim was identified as Horacio Daniel Di Marco. The boy was riding his blue 110 cc Guerrero motorcycle.
The first reconstruction of the event maintains that both the motorcyclist who lost his life and the drivers of the two bicycles were heading south-north on Route 165. The bikes were “in single file.” At one point, approximately 400 meters from Route 146, the motorcycle allegedly hooked onto one of the bikes, causing the three drivers to fall to the asphalt.
An ambulance from the SEC (Coordinated Emergency Service) arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of the motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet. Meanwhile, one of the bicycle drivers was unharmed and a woman, who was riding the remaining bicycle, had to be taken to Schestakow Hospital for a blow to her left shoulder.
