According to the Cartagena Metropolitan Police, on the night of this Sunday, June 16, two homicides occurred, in two different neighborhoods of the city.
One of them was in the San José de los Campanos neighborhood at 6:40 pm, where Carlos Contreras Pacheco, 30 years old, lost his life, suffering from several gunshot wounds that caused his instant death. Read also: Hitmen murder an artisan in front of his friends: they called him ‘el Paca’
Citizens state that a subject approached them and without saying a word injured them. The deceased presents a judicial note as being accused of violence against a public servant.
The other homicide occurred in the La Consolata neighborhood, Cuatro Cruces sector at 5:25 pm. William Cuesta Acevedo, 45 years old, suffered several gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
