Who cannot travel from Monday, June 17 to Friday, June 21

This week the vehicle restriction 2024the measure that prohibits daily vehicle traffic by the Province of Santiago, in addition to Puente Alto and San Bernardo will have a special week, since This Thursday, June 20, will be a holiday for the “National Day of Indigenous Peoples” and therefore will have important news for the drivers.

Vehicle Restriction Calendar: Check the digits from June 17 to 21 in Santiago

According to the calendar published by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, The week of June 17 to 21 will prohibit the restriction of cars, station wagons with green seal -registered as of September 1, 2011- and motorcycles whose registration was prior to September 1, 2010, as long as your patent ends in:

• Monday June 17: 4-5.
• Tuesday June 18: 6-7.
• Wednesday June 19: 8-9.
• Thursday June 20: No restrictions due to it being a holiday.
• Friday, June 21st: 23.

Vehicle restriction for other vehicles:

The measure is even stricter with other vehicles with particular conditions, such as those without a green seal, and therefore It was defined that the vehicles that will not be able to circulate through the Province of Santiago, Puente Alto and San Bernardo, are those that meet the following conditions:

• Automobiles, station wagons and similar, without green seal and without catalytic converter.
• Motorcycles registered before 2002.
• Private transportation buses for people, intercity and rural passenger buses, in addition to freight transportation, whose patents end in:

• Monday June 17: 8-9-0-1.
• Tuesday June 18: 2-3-4-5.
• Wednesday June 19: 6-7-8-9.
• Thursday June 20: No restrictions due to it being a holiday.
• Friday, June 21st: 4-5-6-7.

That’s not all, because the vehicles mentioned above –independent of its digit- They are absolutely prohibited from entering the Américo Vespucio ring during the week.

We remind you that the vehicle restriction applies only on weekdays (Monday to Friday, except holidays) in a hours from 07:30 AM to 21:00 hours.

Vehicles WITHOUT GREEN STAMP or with the mentioned characteristics are PROHIBITED from circulating within the Americo Vespucio Ring.
