In the municipality of Hobo, department of Huila, the El Molino service station was the scene of an attack the night before.

Around 11:42 p.m., security cameras captured the moment two men arrived at the station, parking in front of one of the pumps. Minutes later, They ignited what appeared to be a homemade explosive device.

The device exploded a few seconds later. generating a loud detonation that was heard in several surrounding sectors. Although the explosive was low in power, it caused the total destruction of the gasoline pump in which it was placed. The perpetrators managed to escape before the explosion occurred.

So far, the authorities have not issued an official statement on the incident. However, similar events have occurred in the region, being used as methods of intimidation towards merchants, presumably to demand payment for the so-called ‘vaccine’ by groups outside the law.

The police and other competent authorities are investigating the case in order to fully identify those responsible for this intimidating act. The community hopes that the incident will be clarified soon and security in the area will be reinforced to prevent future attacks.
