A journalist from El Doce and a friend They were assaulted by four armed motochoros in the heart of the Nueva Córdoba neighborhood. The incident occurred this Saturday around 8 p.m. when they were leaving a friend’s house located in Pasaje Valtodano, in the Parque de las Tejas area.
In a matter of seconds, the thieves stole all their belongings, shot in the direction of the apartment and fled.
“At around 8:10 p.m. I leave my friend David’s house and my friend Caro asks me to catch up with her. We spent 10 seconds at the door saying goodbye to the owner of the house, we walked a couple of meters. I had the car 10 meters away, when David shouted from the door. ‘Run, they are stealing’. Out of instinct we tried to go back to the house but they didn’t give us time. They were seconds,” Francisco Arias told Up Córdoba.

There were four criminals and in a quick sequence they took a purse, a wallet and two cell phones. “One got off the motorcycle before reaching where we were, he came running, grabbed Caro from behind and took her wallet,” the journalist said.
With the objects in their possession, they escaped from the gunfire. “At the same time, another man in a blue jacket got off the motorcycle with a revolver pointing down at my legs, I gave him my wallet, I gave him my cell phone and when they were leaving he fired two shots”, continued the chronicler.
The friends were very scared. “Caro was on the other side of the wall, we didn’t see each other. We both felt the explosion and she thought they had shot me and I thought they had shot her. I had a horrible feeling of not having grabbed her hand to run. It happened very quickly and it was very violent,” he recalled, still shocked by the ugly moment.

Despite the quick report, the criminals used one of their cards to make purchases. “After 15 minutes they made purchases for 700 thousand pesos with the credit card that were already canceled,” said the young man. It was a virtual purchase from a renowned sports clothing house.
