With the objective of promoting citizen participation and contributing to legal culture, the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba made the legislative projects on Immigration and Immigration available to the people.

The first of these proposals for regulatory provisions aims to regulate the care, protection, identification and legal documentation of foreigners who visit or reside in the country, as well as the process of social insertion of residents, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, and in the international legal instruments on immigration matters, of which our country is a party.

Meanwhile, the Migration Bill seeks to regulate the Cuban migration process, under a systemic conception of development, aimed at achieving regular, orderly and safe migration, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, in the laws and international treaties on immigration matters.

Previously, the draft laws were published on the Cuban Parliament’s own website. of Transparency and Access to Public Informationof Administrative Procedure and of the System of Honorary Titles and Decorations of the Republic of Cuba.

These draft laws will be submitted to analysis and discussion by the deputies, with a view to their timely presentation to the National Assembly of People’s Power.
