CAME in Geneva: businessmen, Government and unions claimed sovereignty of the Malvinas

Within the framework of the 112th International Labor Conference (ILC) of the International Labor Organization (ILO), which took place in the city of Geneva, Switzerland, the Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME) –invited by the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA) – participated in the tribute to those who fell in the Malvinas war and the vindication of our country’s sovereignty over the islands. “Persisting in the recovery of the Malvinas Islands is a commitment that identifies us and supporting the tools that bring us closer to that historic and inalienable objective is an assumed responsibility that unites us,” said the president of CAME, Alfredo González.

The tripartite event – ​​in which a minute of silence was held for the victims of the 1982 war – included the head of the UIA, Daniel Funes de Rioja; the Secretary of Labor of the Nation, Julio Cordero; the ambassador and representative of Argentina before international organizations, Carlos Foradori; the Buenos Aires Minister of Labor and head of the Tanners’ Union, Walter Correa; the Minister of Justice and the Secretary of Labor of the City of Buenos Aires, Gabino Tabia and Ezequiel Jarvis, respectively; the Minister of Labor of Santa Fe, Roald Báscolo; the Secretary of International Relations of the CGT, Gerardo Martínez; the Secretary of Coordination of Legal Affairs of the Federation of Truck Drivers, Hugo Antonio Moyano; and the General Secretary of the Union of Glass Industry Employees (SEIVARA), Cristian Jerónimo.
