The Municipality of 9 de Julio reconditioned and cleaned the department’s cemeteries to leave them in good condition for Father’s Day. Nearly 3,600 people passed through these places to greet their loved ones who rest in peace.

The doors were opened for access at 7 a.m. this Sunday, June 16, 2024 and remained open until 7 p.m.

Municipal employees worked throughout the week to keep the entire interior of the cemeteries clean and in order, the historic one with a structure for niches, known as the Chacritas cemetery, and the Parque El Palmar Cemetery, which left its hallways in good condition.

They also mowed the grass at both facilities. On the other hand, the Municipality incorporated a full-time cleaning team, which was in charge of keeping the waste bins clean, lifting jars, branches of dried flowers and providing support to each of the visitors who came to leave an offering to their loved ones. parents, whose remains rest in those places.

During the weekend, the mayor of 9 de Julio, Daniel Banega, personally ensured that all workers and teams fulfilled their assigned tasks.
