Two new fatal road victims were recorded in the early hours of yesterday. The events happened in Tinogasta and in the Capital. These are two men who were traveling on motorcycles.
Police sources reported that shortly after 2 o’clock on an unnamed street in the San Martín neighborhood of the town of Fiambalá, Tinogasta, Luis Ismael Muñoz (39) was driving a blue Peugeot 208 car. The driver collided with a red Honda Wave 110 cc motorcycle on which Lukas Nahuel Carrizo Suárez (18) was traveling. The young man was in the company of Javier Barrionuevo Santos (29). Due to the impact, both suffered injuries that required medical assistance from the Zonal Hospital.
Moments later, from the hospital, it was reported that the motorcyclist Carrizo Suárez died due to the serious injuries suffered. According to reports, a man identified as Gustavo Guillermo Acevedo (41) was traveling on a black Motomel Skua 150 cc motorcycle, domain 401-KYW. This motorcyclist lost control of the vehicle and fell to the ground.
As a result of the fall, the man died instantly due to the serious injuries suffered. Given this fact, SAME personnel, experts from the General Directorate of Criminalistics of the Provincial Police and investigators from Judicial Unit No. 7 intervened to carry out the corresponding actions, under the directives of the Investigative Prosecutor’s Office on duty for the Northern District. , from where the measures to be completed were given.
Last weekend there were also fatalities on the Catamarca routes. It was a motorcyclist and the driver of a truck. The events occurred in Andalgalá and Pomán.
