In the early hours of Tuesday, personnel from the Forensic Scientific Division of the PDI were commissioned to the port area of the city of Santa Fe due to the presence of a woman without vital signs.
Upon arriving at the scene, the experts interviewed a Prefectural official who reported what happened. Later, it was learned that the victim, 61 years old, lived on the 9th floor, along with her husband, a 72-year-old man.
The unfortunate woman’s body had multiple fractures in her extremities, according to the preliminary examination carried out by the police doctor. The scene was preserved and samples were collected, as is required.
Then, investigators went to the victim’s apartment for a second survey. The man, visibly affected by what happened, explained that his partner was sleeping in the room while he watched television in the dining room. Several cell phones and a notebook were found, which were reported to prosecutor Luciana Escobar Cello for her possible kidnapping.
The investigation remains ongoing, with an autopsy pending and additional evidence collected at the department.
