ATE Río Negro – ATE met again for the Collective Agreement and advanced in the articles on teleworking

The parties scheduled a next meeting for July 24 at 10 a.m., at which time the titles Licenses and Franchises will be discussed.

The State Workers Association (ATE) and the Government of the province met again today at the Ministry of Labor to advance the design of the Collective Labor Agreement for the public administration. The meeting was attended by legislator Lucas Pica and representatives of ATE led by its general secretary, Rodrigo Vicente.

In this framework, as they had agreed in the last meeting, where the general guidelines of the first 44 articles of the project were defined, the exchange revolved around teleworking.

In this sense, among other points, it was established that the people who are hired to fulfill their functions under this modality will enjoy the same rights and obligations as public agents who work under the face-to-face modality and their remuneration may not be less than that they perceived or would perceive under the face-to-face modality.

Also, there was reference to the working day, defined, in principle, in the same hours as that of people who perform tasks in person and it was established that the employer can modify the work modality from in-person to teleworking for any public agent. , provided there are reasons of service, administrative convenience, or other well-founded reasons that justify said change. Likewise, any public agent who performs his duties under this modality can request the change to in-person work.

Another important axis revolved around the right to digital disconnection, which implies the right of the public agent not to be contacted and to disconnect from digital devices and/or information and communication technologies, outside of their working hours and during leave periods. : The employer may not require the person who works to perform tasks, nor send communications, by any means, outside of working hours.

Finally, among other points, the provision of work elements and training were also axes of exchange as well as access to collective rights: they will be considered, for the purposes of union representation, as part of the group of those who work in a in person.

In this way, there was continuity with reciprocal contributions on the way to the final drafting of the CCT, which foresees some 200 articles, and a next meeting was scheduled for July 24 at 10 a.m., at which time the titles Licenses and Franchises.
