Registration period open for swimming courses at the sports center pool

With the definitive arrival of summer and the heat, the Alfaro City Council offers those interested swimming courses in the pool of the La Molineta municipal sports center, from adaptation to improvement for all ages through to gymnastics in the water.

With registration open from this Monday at the Citizen Services Office for 25 euros (12.50 for large families), the courses will take place in two fortnights throughout July: from Monday the 1st to Friday the 12th and from the 15th to the 26th.

On those dates, the courses will be distributed in the morning and afternoon, with two of the different levels in each time slot to try to respond to all the demand throughout the day. For example, from 10:00 to 10:45 they will offer water gymnastics and another initiation and improvement course for adults. And so on in nine hours until 8:45 p.m. As a guide, the City Council points out that adaptation is for children who do not yet know how to float in water, initiation for those who float but do not know how to swim, and improvement for those who know but want to perfect their technique.
