Moments of tension were experienced this Wednesday morning in the Güemes neighborhood of the city of Córdoba by a man who he entrenched himself in his house with a shotgun.
The first information assures that the individual was the one who called the Police and reported that he was armed. The provincial Security Minister, Juan Pablo Quinteros, confirmed to the press that there was no other person in the house.

At the site, a strong operation was mounted in the area, in which the Recommended Special Tactics Team (ETER) intervened, under the instructions of prosecutor Celeste Blasco.
The authorities seized two shotguns, a carbine, an air rifle and several knives from the scene. According to neighbors, gunshots had been heard coming from the house for several hours before the incident, something that could not be confirmed by police authorities and ruled out by Quinteros.
The affected area was being cleared by police authorities to allow it to reopen to the public. Simón Bolívar and Montevideo streets had been closed for the duration of the police operation.
