The Minister of Education, Cristina Fiore Viñualesand the rector of UNSa, Daniel Hoyosmet to finalize details of the Vocational and Labor Guidance Project, in which 15 Secondary, Technical and EPJA Level establishments will participate.

This project, which is promoted by the UNSa Academic Secretariat, has two axes: early vocations and pedagogical digital literacy.

The schools were selected according to geographical location (away from the university campus), 5 institutions that already participated in other University proposals in 2023 and generate belonging in the educational population of vulnerable groups and those with low enrollment in the university.

In this regard, Minister Fiore expressed: “Education is transformative and that is why I think it is important to be able to reach students from more remote places so that they can access university. Furthermore, it is essential that when we let go of your hand, you can take it.”

For his part, Hoyos emphasized: “The majority of students want to study Law or Accounting, but the university has many more courses with high job demand. That is why it is important that students know the different careers we have so that their choice is more conscious. This program also teaches them to know themselves and make a much more conscious vocational choice.”

The meeting was attended by: the Undersecretary of Postgraduate and Academic Affairs, María Cristina Gijón; the Secretary of Educational Management, Star Villarreal; the general directors of Primary Education, Jorge Correa; of Technical Education, Fabiana Viera; and Continuing Education for Youth and Adults, Adolfo Montenegro.
