This is what the governor of Tucumán, Osvaldo Jaldo, expressed; when he referred to the beginning of the debate on the Fiscal Bases and Agreement bill in the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation after its approval with modifications in the Chamber of Senators.
In this regard, the provincial leader said: “You know that I am almost a fan of the Base Law and the Fiscal Pact. And I say this because really, especially the Fiscal Pact, means resources for the districts in the interior of the country and it also means resources for the national government. So I’m optimistic.”
“We are traveling on Monday. The governors of the NOA and the NEA are going to meet. Let’s state our position, as is the fact that we unfailingly need the Money Laundering and the Tax Moratorium to be maintained as the Senators proposed. But, fundamentally, that the Income Tax that was rejected in the Senators be approved. The governors of the NEA and NOA, such as Córdoba, Santa Fe and Entre Ríos, have already publicly supported the agreement of the Base Law, as well as the Fiscal Pact. I understand that there will be the necessary will in the National Congress, in the Chamber of Deputies, to definitively approve them.”
