Franco García, a forward trained in Racing de Nueva Italia and present in Cobresal in Chile, said this Wednesday that he would like to move to Belgrano.

It is not the first time that the name “Wachi” has been mentioned by Alberdi and the forward himself made it clear that he would like to play there.

“At the time there were possibilities of having been able to go to Belgrano and Talleres. The Racing leadership (previous to Manuel Pérez) decided to give me a little more experience and I respected that decision,” the 26-year-old forward said this Wednesday.

And he added: “I have been hearing the rumor for some time that I am dreaming in Belgrano. It would be nice to be able to return to Córdoba, if it happens I will analyze the possibility.”

And in dialogue with Futbolético he added: “I spent practically my entire life playing in Racing, you always have to do well. “I intend to return to the club”

On the other hand, García explained that “in Chile I have been playing as a right winger, I would feel comfortable trying to play looser to take advantage of my speed. For me it would be a leap to play in Belgrano.”

In Cobresal, García has Cordoba goalkeeper Leandro Requena as a partner. Also the Argentines Franco Bechtholdt, Leandro Navarro and Gastón Lezcano.

“I adapted quickly to both the league, the club and the town. It was a fantastic year. One came with great expectations to meet important objectives, one always wants to seek to grow and I came with a hunger for glory, eager to continue growing, I am not a conformist and I want to continue progressing,” Franco said.
