This is essential to access the registered construction labor market and becomes more relevant taking into account the high demand for jobs that will arise in the Sierra Grande region, as a result of the investment project.

In this framework, today, the Ministry of Labor signed, with the UOCRA Foundation, an agreement that will allow people with skills related to construction trades to access training and job evaluation, in order to obtain the official certificate. .

They signed, in Viedma, the Secretary of Labor, María Martha Avilez and the general secretary of the UOCRA Atlantic zone, Damián Miler and, in Buenos Aires, the executive director of the Foundation, Gustavo Gándara.

The trades to be evaluated will be General Assistant, Bricklayer, Reinforced concrete carpenter and Shipwright. The activity will take place in the town of Sierra Grande and the Foundation will provide the trainers who will issue the IERIC certificate (Institute of Statistics and Records of the Construction Industry), while the organization will be borne by the Rio Negro labor organization.

Within the framework of the signing, Avilez and Gándara agreed that social dialogue is the ideal mechanism to establish criteria, agree on policies and have the economic and technical resources necessary to achieve the objectives set out in the joint work agenda referred to education, inclusion and vocational training.
