This extra long weekend for Flag Day and the long weekend holiday for tourist purposes, different activities will be carried out in the province. One of them is the Misionero Rally that will take place from June 21 to 23, along the rural roads of Jardín América, Colonia Polana, Hipólito Yrigoyen and Puerto Leoni.

In turn, from Thursday to Sunday, the National Master Volleyball Tournament will be held, both in the men’s and women’s branches, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Finito Gehrmann sports center in Posadas. While those interested in exploring the city can join the City Tours that leave every day at 4 p.m. from Plaza 9 de Julio, or enjoy Ecobici rides through the City Park from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., remembering to bring the DNI.

During those same days, there will be a unique Full Moon Walk experience at Iguazú Falls, where participants will be able to walk through the Upper Circuit under the special light of the moon.

In addition, on Thursday, June 20, there will be a guided tour along native tree trails and a performance in the protected meliponary enclosure of the Botanical Garden of the missionary capital, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. On the same day, the Salto Encantado Provincial Park will be the scene of a Patria Kermés. The day will start at 11:00 a.m. with the opening of food trucks, followed at 1:00 p.m. by a cultural and craft fair. At 2:00 p.m. the walk “Together for Nature and the Homeland” will take place, continuing at 2:30 p.m. with presentations of Argentine folk dances, to close the park at 5:00 p.m.

In Apóstoles, it will be a day to enjoy guided tours along Myths and Legends trails, at 4:30 p.m., in the Tupambaé Reserve. To register, people must go to the Casa del Mate.

On Friday, June 21, the Salto Encantado Provincial Park will open its doors from 6:00 p.m. to offer “Nights in the Park”, an evening that includes entrance to the park, gastronomic reception, swiftlet watching, a two-course menu and a night guide.

Meanwhile, at 9 p.m., at the House of History and Culture of the Bicentennial in San Vicente, the “Meeting of Strings, popular and classic works of the world” will take place, with free admission. They will perform, Agustín Cardozo (guitar); Christian López (guitar), Rubén Batista (guitar), Adrián Flores (guitar); Carly Cáceres (harp) and Charly Avila (guitar). On Saturday, June 22, history and nature lovers will be able to participate in a guided walk along the Bajada Vieja, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a meeting point at the Andresito Monument on the Costanera de Posadas. In turn, at 5 p.m., in the space located on Avda. Roque Sáenz Peña 1870 in the city, the second edition of the Author Showroom will take place, organized by the Missionary Design Route.

The activity is open and free, intended for those who want to know and purchase products from missionary fashion designers.

Also on Saturday the 22nd, the invitation opens at 2:30 p.m. to the traditional Juan Szychowski de Apóstoles Museum; municipality where, on the other hand, an entrepreneurs’ fair will be held, starting at 5 p.m., in Plaza San Martín, with gastronomy, crafts, raffles, live shows and a pull-up tournament.

Simultaneously, in the El Maynó Private Ecological Reserve in San Vicente, an astrotourism day will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. This event includes hiking, an astronomical guide, telescope observation and gastronomy, allowing participants to learn about the landscape, flora, fauna and fungi, and enjoy observing the Moon and the brightest stars of the night.

On Sunday, June 23, the Fiesta Park will be the ideal place for families with children, offering an afternoon of eco-education and environmental games from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

In this way, Misiones invites locals and visitors to enjoy a varied program of activities that combines culture, nature, sport and tradition, making this XL weekend a perfect opportunity to explore and experience the province to the fullest.
