The mayor of the city of Córdoba, Daniel Passerini, presided over the traditional raising of the Argentine flag, on the day that commemorates the passage to immortality of its creator, General Manuel Belgrano.
The event took place on the main mast in Plaza San Martín, in the historic center of the city.
Passerini was accompanied by the municipal cabinet, councilors, members of the Armed Forces and security, representatives of different faiths, consuls and representatives of civil society.
General Manuel Belgrano was honored with a laurel wreath at his monument, located in Sarmiento Park.
