With various instances of competition, training and tournaments, the sport is a flag in each of the regions of the province of Neuquén.

As part of the public policy agenda to guarantee access to sport throughout the Neuquén territory, the Ministry of Human Development, Local Governments and Women, through the Secretariat of Sports and Youth, continues to expand the offer of sport promotion as law with varied activities ranging from training to holding competitions and sporting events.

Interprovincial volleyball tournament

This Thursday, June 20, Neuquén capital will host the first day of the interprovincial volleyball tournament, a contest that will feature the participation of teams from the capital, from the provincial interior and the neighboring province of Río Negro; initiative that has the support of the Sports and Youth Secretariat of the province of Neuquén and is organized by the Neuquén Volleyball Federation.

As a complement to the contest, there will also be a training clinic led by graduates Alejandro Bertorello and Omar Grasso, who will address different aspects of teaching this sport as a way to contribute through training to improve the level of competition.

This First Open of the Confluencia volleyball, under 18 category – both branches, will take place until June 23 at the Ruca Che Stadium, dependent on Ecydense, from the Ministry of Human Development, Local Governments and Women.

Mariano Moreno: Cerro Negro Challenge

The trail running competition organized by the municipality of Mariano Moreno had the participation of more than 250 runners.

With the participation of more than 250 runners from different parts of the province and other surrounding regions, the first edition of the Cerro Negro Challenge was held in Covunco, an activity that was accompanied by the Ministry of Human Development, Local Governments and Women, through the Secretary of Sports and Youth.

The trail running competition, organized by the Mariano Moreno Running Group, also had active participation from the Mountain Infantry Regiment (RIM) No. 10, whose property located in Covunco was the top and finish point of the competition that had three modalities: 10 kilometers, 21 kilometers, both competitive, and a recreational test that was set up in parallel to open participation to the family, one of the axes of the current Government management, which is to promote physical activity and recreation in all areas and ages.

Centennial: Football training for sports leaders

Centenario hosted, last weekend, a soccer training for Children and Youth sports leaders, with the attendance of more than 40 leaders who work towards the growth of community soccer. Neighborhood leaders, teachers and community school collaborators joined the proposal.

The clinic was aimed at trainers who work in the municipal children’s (LiMFIC), adolescent (LiMFAC) and women’s (LiMFFeC) soccer leagues. The theoretical part was carried out in the municipal court building and the practical work was carried out in the Liga LIMFIC municipal property.

From the training area of ​​the Sports and Youth Secretariat, through these clinics we seek to generate new spaces of knowledge for youth football.

Sauzal Bonito: Cycling Competition

In Sauzal Bonito there was a cycling festival with the dispute of a competition that had the participation of 210 cyclists, 150 federated riders and 60 cyclists who took part in the recreational competition.

The president of the development commission Fernando Wircaleo accompanied with his presence the development of the test, which was well received by the entire community. The competition was mixed and closed with a draw to commemorate Father’s Day.

A program of community sports and recreational activities was also developed in the town that included fishing, newcomb, non-conventional recreational games and cycling.
