After an operation by the Mayor’s Office and the Metropolitan Police of Ibagué, two residences were closed for 10 and 30 days due to poor hygiene. They found precarious health conditions in these establishments, located around Plaza de la 21.

At the scene, cockroaches, mice, human feces and urine were found on the mattresses. Deplorable unclean conditions that led to the temporary closure of businesses.

“The law is to be complied with, we will continue to be forceful; “A commercial establishment that does not comply with the documentation and the minimum hygienic and sanitary conditions established by the standard will be closed indefinitely.”warned the Secretary of Health, Liliana Ospina.

Likewise, the Metropolitan Police seized two sharp weapons carried by residents of one of the sealed places. ““We managed to apply a corrective measure to two people who were leaving and carrying sharp weapons,” stated Edwin Castro, captain of the Metib.

In addition, the uniformed officers managed to close the second commercial establishment that also did not comply with the health standard, nor with the documentation for its operation.
