Only in a week will the province have a list of works to reactivate and present it to the Nation

The procedure that has already been carried out by other districts in the region that were assigned works to be reactivated, including funds, such as Misiones ($20 billion), in the case of the Corrientes administration, has not yet defined what to manage before the National government.

Yesterday the governor of the province, after the central event for Flag Day on the southern coast of the city of Corrientes, announced that only next week will he have finished the list of works that he will ask the Nation to be reactivated. Last week he had said that he and his administration were in no hurry to reactivate public works, he was telling the truth.

“We are going to finish writing this down in a week and hopefully we will reach an agreement,” the president told the local press. Previously, last Wednesday provincial Public Works and Education officials rushed to the media in the officially scheduled universe to say that there are works that are being carried out.

The explanation for this reaction is that the national government, through a new resolution of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation, established that the provinces and municipalities that have unfinished national work must return the money for those unfinished works. In Corrientes alone in the Educational area there are 60 construction projects.

Provinces such as Chaco, Entre Ríos and Misiones already have their lists of works approved by the national government. Even the district of Tierra Colorado accessed a $20 billion funding package to begin the reactivation of those works paralyzed by the libertarian administration since December 2023.

In Corrientes, the land of the chamamé, local authorities said there is no rush.
