In Cúcuta, the installation of Fomag drugstores began, which will seek to support teachers in this region of the country. Although they have not yet been installed, there are many expectations among teachers due to the implications this will have for the health system.
Jesús Maldonado, rector of the Simón Bolívar school, told Caracol Radio that it is important to install these pharmacies that will be very useful for teachers.
“It is important that it be supported even more, there are already other pharmacies, but these will only end up responding to our needs. “There are new administrative readjustments.”
He highlighted that “the medical care of the previous EPS had several aspects, but I want to say that to a certain extent there was good administrative management. This new process will be important, some contracts have ended and have started again.”
He concluded that “we already had six pharmacies and I understand that medications require a process, there are two new ones, including Libertad, where there is no congestion, with these modifications to the health system we see this as a benefit.”
