The Barranquilla Metropolitan Policethrough the Unified Action Group for Freedom, GAULAmanaged to capture four people in flagrante delicto who will be prosecuted for the crimes of extortion, illegal possession of a firearm and false marking in different sectors of the city.
The operation was carried out in the Las Nieves neighborhood, Suroriente locality of Barranquilla, when those arrested were traveling on a motorcycle and a taxi-type vehicle. These were identified as Alfredo Luis Martínez Caballero, Iván Dionicio Pérez Barón, alias Godzilla; Jhonatan Jose Mendoza Toscano, alias El Calvo; Jhon Freddy Ortiz Gonzales, alias El Viejo.
According to reports from the authorities, these individuals present judicial notes for the crimes of extortion, negligent injuries and conspiracy to commit a crime in the Oral Accusatory Penal System, Spoa. All would be alleged responsible for extortionate charges in various commercial establishments in the city.
The uniformed officers managed to seize at least 20 extortion pamphlets. Also, an explosive device, three cell phones, a taxi-type vehicle and a motorcycle.
