The fatal victim was identified as Brayan Andrés Mojica Santos, a National Police patrolman, who died immediately at the scene, while The injured person was César Silva, deputy mayor assigned to the Dijín, who received two hits in the right hand and arm and was taken to the town of San Roque.
According to information provided by the community, at the time of the events, the uniformed officers were traveling in a white Suzuki vehicle with license plates LOL-529 when they were approached by a truck and shots were exchanged. Those attacked were carrying out verification activities against organized crime in the territory.
