The opening of this direct representation in Cuba, under the conditions of the North American siege, constitutes an event of great significance in the development of relations between both countries.declared the head of the commercial office of the Eurasian giant in this country, Sergei Baldin.

When speaking before Russian and Cuban businessmen, with the participation of Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas, Baldin considered that The opening of Novikombank will contribute to developing an independent financial infrastructure, amidst lockdown conditions.

Likewise, he considered that this is part of a first step in strengthening interbank cooperation.

The presence here of Novikombank offers hope to fulfill development projects and investments in various spheres in the future and offers confidence to the Russian business community to operate in Cuba, he said.

Representatives of Novikombank highlighted here that this financial structure has accumulated 30 years of support for Russian industry in spheres such as machinery and aircraft construction, energy, metallurgy, car and ship manufacturing, among others.

The aforementioned bank has been working directly with three main financial entities on the island for eight years, but now it will have direct representation in this nation.
