The Ministry of Health celebrated that, this year, the level of registration for medical residencies in Entre Ríos registered 50% more applicants compared to last year.

On May 15, online registration for the specialty training system closed. Thus, A total of 165 professionals were registered who met the requested requirementswhich consists of registration through SISA and delivery of documentation to the Coordination of Medical Residences.

According to the coordinator of Medical Residences of the Ministry of Health, Daniela Bello, “last year Entre Ríos had 106 registered and this year 165” and detailed: “Residents were registered in specialties such as Neonatology and Pediatric Surgery that we did not have registered in these specialties last year”.

Bello announced, in another line, that work is being done on a reform of the Health Residence Law “to make our offer more attractive and beneficial, both for residents and instructors, and thus be able to include more professionals in the system”. Furthermore, the ministry highlighted that Argentina is the only country in the world where the State finances the training of graduate professionals.
