Tunja, June 22, 2024. (UACP). The environmental education team of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development held a special awareness day during the Environmental Knowledge Fair, organized by the Medilaser SAS Clinic.
The objective of this initiative was to raise awareness among health personnel about the importance of addressing climate change.
During the activity, the urgency of implementing proactive measures to mitigate the effects of climate change and promote sustainable practices in the health sector was highlighted. Additionally, we sought to inspire health professionals to become agents of environmental change in their communities and workplaces.
During the second day of the Environmental Fair, the Animal Protection and Welfare team highlighted the importance of responsible ownership of pets (dogs and cats).
This approach sought to raise awareness among health personnel, students, and the community about respect and care for all forms of life.
This initiative reflects the commitment of Medilaser and the Boyacá Environment Secretariat to the promotion of responsible environmental practices and animal welfare within the health sector and the community in general.
