Among seven candidates, the queen of the Tesorito Commune of Manizales.

The winner will represent this eastern sector of the city in the Popular Reign of the 68th edition of the Manizales Fair.

The election was held in San Pío X school in the La Enea neighborhood.

The jury chose Mariam Daniela Moreno Marín as the new representative of the Tesorito Commune.

There are still seven local reigns left. The next contest will take place on June 27 at the Teatro Los Fundadores Cultural and Convention Center.

For this meeting, 15 candidates from the communes will meet La Estación, Cumanday, La Macarena, La Fuente and Universitariaas well as the candidates from the rural area of El Manantial, El Remanso and Colombia.

The Events and Tourism Promoter leads these local reigns that will take place until August 17this initiative being the opportunity to highlight local talent and integrate the community in city events.

The manager of the Promoter, Mónica Londoño Arango, indicated: “These popular reigns will allow us to select, among the 50 candidates, the eight finalists who will be this August 17 at the Fundadores Theater in the final for the election and coronation of the queen. We invite all the communes, townships and villages of Manizales to accompany the micro reigns; You will be able to find the dates and times on our social networks to take part in this activity.”
