Alejandra Monteoliva it will become in Security Secretary. She was appointed by the head of the national portfolio, Patricia Bullrichas a replacement for Vicente Ventura Barreirowho was displaced and denounced by the head of the area herself, following suspicions in the bidding process for the purchase of food in Penitentiary Service facilities.
Monteoliva is a former Minister of Security of the government of the province of Cordovaduring the administration of Governor Juan Schiaretti, with experience in national management, since between 2015 and 2020 she held positions as National Director of Criminal Information Management, first, and as Director of Operations of the Federal Forces later.
The changes in the Security portfolio were confirmed in the last hours and Monteoliva will join the Bullrrich team, in the management of the president Javier Milei. The former Córdoban official has a degree in International Relations and has a master’s degree in development planning and management, as well as experience in international organizations and in public service at all levels.
