The Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires has recently launched a new version of the Cultural Pass aimed at older people.

The beneficiaries of this program will be retirees who reside in the City of Buenos Aires and receive pensions of smaller amounts. In this way, they will be able to have the benefit of 40,000 pesos.

The card, available in physical and virtual format, can be used in cinemas, theaters, bookstores and other participating cultural spaces, also offering discounts.

Adult Cultural Pass members will have access to exclusive events, such as general rehearsals, meetings with artists, tickets and free books. In addition, those who collect or open an account at Banco Ciudad will enjoy additional benefits through the Buepp virtual wallet.

Gabriela Ricardes, Minister of Culture of Buenos Aires, stated: “Culture defines our Buenos Aires identity like few things, and that is why we work so that more and more people have access to all the City’s proposals.”

Registering is very simple: those interested can do so via the website, in the hall of the San Martín Theater, at the community headquarters of their neighborhood, at the House of Culture (Av. de Mayo 575, PB) and through the +Simple application . In addition, the Cultural Pass for young people is renewed, offering improvements and additional benefits through Buepp. This program is intended for students from public secondary schools, re-entry high schools, basic cycles of occupational training or teacher training in the City, among others.
