They held a Robotitos workshop aimed at early childhood

The Los Pocitos Child Development Center hosted a Robotics Workshop intended for early childhood. In this opportunity, Marisol Gordilloa trainer belonging to the Undersecretary of Promotion and Environmental Education, was in charge of the workshop.

“From reusing wood and cables that are no longer used, we give a workshop to early childhood here in Los Pocitos. It is an initiative designed to enhance children’s motor skills,” said Marisol.

The CDI serves a total of 70 children, with ages ranging from 1 year and 8 months to 4 years. The distribution of children is 35 in the morning and 35 in the afternoon, which ensures equal attention throughout the day.

Tafí Viejo has three CDIs, in Lomas de Tafí, Los Pocitos and in the CIC San Alberto. Each space is committed to providing comprehensive care, emotional support, early stimulation, psychomotor activities and a wide variety of games and recreational exercises for the little ones. Nutritional assistance, prevention and the promotion of children’s health are fundamental axes in its operation.

The spaces depend on the Secretariat of Social Development headed by Maximiliano Bevacqua. They also provide breakfast and snacks and in the case of Los Pocitos, food items.
