The Selected Team of the Regional Association Pancho Ramírez became champion of the Entrerriano Femenino of the U13 category that took place in the city of Concordia during the weekend.
The cast of “La Historica” was crowned undefeated, winning its four games in the federative competition. On Sunday they won against the representatives of Concordia and Santa Elena, sealing a great campaign in the National Capital of Citrus.
The team led by Fernanda Joannas and Eduardo Biagi declared champions after their third presentation, in which they defeated the host 48 to 47 in an agonizing finale. Ernestina Martín became a hero thanks to a double with three seconds left to unleash an endless celebration in the “Gigante Verde” gym of the Estudiantes Club.
Already with the title in their hands, the ARBPR closed its participation perfectly with a solid 67-37 victory over Santa Elena. To highlight that all the players converted points, María Victoria Blanc standing out, with 12 goals, and Paloma Franzolini, who contributed 11.
Second place was in the hands of the Paraná team (APBF), with a very good job with a record of three successes and one defeat, which was narrowly against Pancho Ramírez in a duel that could have gone to either of the two. Those led by Carina Rosales won the remaining three games convincingly (36.7 average difference).
Concordia completed the podium with an unforgettable performance, fighting as equals with the “powers” of the province (ARBPR and APBF) to give a compelling example of the remarkable growth and development of women’s basketball in this Association. It is worth remembering that ABC also came from being third in the Entrerriano U15.
