More than a thousand soldiers guarantee security during the mid-year holidays

The First Brigade of the National Army maintains the institutional campaign “Safe Travel, Your Army is on the road” for this mid-year period. With nearly 1,200 soldiers complying with the Constitution in the department of Boyacá; and on the different road axes with more than 15 checkpoints, security is provided to the region and the community that visits this region of Colombian territory.

During this mid-year break, the soldiers of the battalions of the First Brigade of the National Army in the department of Boyacá are deployed on different routes and road axes, ensuring the safety of the population and supporting the traffic authorities to provide a safe trip.

Boyacá is consolidated as one of the most important tourist destinations in Colombia, offering a rich combination of natural landscapes, cultural heritage and traditional activities that attract visitors from all over. At this mid-year time, the department prepares to receive tourists with a series of events organized by the municipalities of Boyacá that highlight the best of its culture and traditions, all with the guarantee of safety on the roads.

The community is reiterated that line 147 is enabled 24 hours a day to report actions that affect their safety.
