The Secretary of Public Security Omar Pereira affirmed that Mauricio Laferrara, the convicted hitman from Esteban Lindor Alvarado’s gang who was recaptured last Friday in Pueblo Andino, had as his objective “take revenge” on Governor Maximiliano Pullaro. In line with what was raised by Security Minister Pablo Cococcioni, who last Saturday suggested that one of the hypotheses they were using was that “Cannibal” could plan an attack against the current head of the provincial Executive.

“Both Alvarado and Laferrara, in addition to keeping their businesses active, had the objective of revenge, which was surely against Governor Pullaro“Pereira said in a press conference from the local Government headquarters.

In this context, the provincial official recalled that “Caníbal” could have planned this political crime, since His arrest occurred when the current head of the Gray House was Minister of Security. “Their objective is to maintain business and revenge, without a doubt,” he reiterated.

For his part, the Secretary of Information Analysis and Management of the Ministry of Security Esteban Santantino said that the hitman made “a series of errors” that facilitated his recapture, such as showing himself outside a home. “We have no confirmation, but we infer that he was active. Still, it is something that the federal Justice system will have to clarify,” he commented.

“As common sense dictates, We hope that this person’s protections are reinforced.who returns to a federal prison,” Santantino concluded.
