A wave of demands from Cipolletti unions: still no response

Cipolletti’s union front sent four notes of different tenor to the Executive Branch, all linked to the employment situation of municipal employees. The claims range from the adjustment in assignments to the transfer of workers to the plant. more than five years old.

From the Soyem union they reported that so far they had no answers, but for the moment there will be no forceful measures, nor will the claim be intensified.

The front is made up of the Soyem, ATE and UPCN unions, which since mid-June have been requesting different demands from the municipality led by Rodrigo Buteler.

The latest claim is from last week when the start of the evaluations was requested. and reports to determine unhealthiness in the tasks of the areas “that must have such a concept.”

The process began in 2019, but it did not advance and that is why the unions demand that the environmental study be resumed.

Also last week, it was requested to begin the process of transferring municipal employees who have been in the municipality for 5 or more years. In this spirit, the front intends to have the recategorizations signed. of several workers.

The municipal government reached a salary agreement with the four state unions for the May and June two-month period. The joint committee will meet again in July to analyze the evolution of the economic situation.

The last joint agreement that was signed was on May 22. The four unions accepted the Executive Branch’s offer. An increase of 8% was set in May and another 10% in June, that will impact the basics of each category.
