Two indigenous community members were kidnapped in separate incidents, allegedly by members of the Dagoberto Ramos column of the Central General Staff of the FARC, in northern Cauca. One of the community members was found dead.

The first case occurred in the El Tierrero village of the municipality of Toribío, where Eyber Danilo Poto, 37, was intercepted and forced to get into a truck by alleged members of the armed group.

The second and most serious incident took place in the Campoalegre neighborhood of Miranda. Florentino Mesa Noscue was kidnapped while riding a motorcycle with his partner and his minor son. Later, his lifeless body was found in the area bordering the town of Corinth.
