The Police announced a total traffic cut on Route 4 due to a new road accident in the south of Córdoba. This time, a truck overturned and it was spread across the width of the road, completely obstructing circulation.
According to official sources, the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on provincial route 4, near km 212.
Traffic was completely stopped by the incident between the Cordoba towns of Salguero and Melo.
In the usual survey of the state of the routes, the Highway Police warned of the cut on its website. In it, the officers characterized the weather as having a calm wind and no precipitation, so it is ruled out that it has affected the event or circulation in general.
In dialogue with The voicethe officers confirmed that the rollover was allegedly caused by mechanical failures.
The driver was treated at the scene and there were no injuries.
In turn, the Córdoba Police account replicated the announcement around 6:30 p.m. on platform X (formerly Twitter). Furthermore, in this statement the troops added images of the event but located the incident near the town of Laboulaye.
According to reports, the detours are signposted and the authorities are working at the scene.
