The Secretariat of Culture (Secult) of San Luis Potosí will recognize children’s artists in the disciplines of painting, story, piano, violin and guitar, from the 215 participants who registered for the 2024 Children’s and Youth Contest, to reward talent of the Potosí creators, whose results will be announced on June 30.
The head of Secult, Mario García Valdez, explained that the contest will reward the best of children and youth talent in San Luis Potosí, as part of the strategies to promote and bring art closer to new generations, which the State Governor has undertaken. , Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, through this type of initiatives that stimulate the creativity of new generations.
The official explained that 45 girls, boys, and young people from Potosí will be awarded, who have stood out in the disciplines of: painting, story, piano, violin and guitar, 15 prizes of 3,500 pesos for first places, 15 more than 2,000 500 pesos for second places and another 15, 1,500 pesos for third places, in recognition of the cultural impulse and artistic development they have had in the four regions of the Entity.
