In the midst of the pain that overwhelms the family of Mayor Andersson Hernández Villar for the homicide allegedly at the hands of the ELN, after being kidnapped in the border area and whose body was found in Arauquita.

Her sister Camila Villar, in the midst of sobs, from the mourning that accompanies her loved ones, rejected what happened “my brother always went on vacation to Cali to visit my mother and then he went to visit my father. He went out with his girlfriend there and unfortunately he was kidnapped.”

“They never communicated with us, my father made every effort to try to talk to those people, to find out his whereabouts so that they would respect his life and not harm him, but everything was fruitless. Initially there was a lot of silence, then the authorities generated the alerts, the search and unfortunately they murdered him,” said the family member.

He indicated that they do not know how he was transferred to the neighboring apartment but revealed that “it was through a relative who works with a funeral home that reports the discovery of bodies, victims of violence, murdered people and another relative managed to identify him by a tattoo.”

In the midst of sadness, they rejected this action by the violent and asked them to stop their attacks against the public force, respect civil society and stop the bloodshed in the country in various regions.

Mayor Anderson Hernández Villa had 20 years in the national police, he is assigned to the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Police, father of two children aged 9 and 11.
